Noran Sangsang Books—meaning “Yellow Imagination” in Korean—represents the boundless creativity of children and the power of imagination to shape their world. We are passionate about integrating important social issues—such as history, human rights, and the climate crisis—into children’s books while also publishing stories that nurture growth, spark joy, and celebrate artistic beauty. Since our founding in 2010, we have translated and published captivating picture books from around the world into Korean, while also providing a stage for both emerging and established Korean picture book authors to bring their visions to life. Our books have received prestigious accolades, including the Korea Picture Book Award and Best Book for Children at the Seoul International Book Fair, and have reached readers across multiple countries.
