THE BOLOGNA GLOBAL RIGHTS EXCHANGE 

Powered by the international rights platform PubMatch, the Bologna Global Rights Exchange (GRE) is the virtual marketplace dedicated exclusively to the international rights, distribution and licensing of content.

Born in 2020, the GRE has become a key tool of the BCBF digital strategy and host approximately 22,000 titles and more than 200 properties. It offers the international community 365° support, and plays an active role throughout the year enabling BCBF exhibitors and visitors to continue to display, discover and trade rights across the world.

The GRE has been enhanced with numerous functions and includes BBPlus to offer rights trading opportunities across general trade publishers and agents and BLTF/Kids to learn what is new in licensing brands and properties. The Comics Corner section features comics and graphic novel companies attending the BCBF area dedicated to this exciting medium. 

Working as an all year round rights marketplace, GRE offers exhibitors the opportunity to present their titles and brands, create and name their own showcases, search contents and trends, have instant chats, schedule and hold calls and video meetings directly on the platform.

GRE is open to publishers, agents/literary agencies, scouts, licensees, licensors, developers, licensing agencies, TV/audiovisual producers, promotion and services providers free to all in person fair exhibitors of BCBF, BLTF/Kids, BBPlus.

Previously Registered Exhibitors and Visitors 

If you were registered in 2021 you can continue to use User and Password from 2021 and if have forgotten your password, please click the “Forgot Password” button to retrieve it.If you were registered in 2020 and you have not updated your profile for 2021 you will initially login with the email address used in 2020 and your password. It will automatically bring you to your “Edit Profile” tab in your profile where you will update your login information. Please note that it is no longer allow email addresses to be used as login credentials. Once saved you can begin using the GRE. If you have forgotten your password, please click the “Forgot Password” button to retrieve it. 

New Registrations

All new Bologna GRE exhibitors or visitors will need to register by clicking on Register Now. Once registered, the Bologna team will review your registration to approve your entry in the GRE. Once approved you will receive an email with the link to login to your dashboard and begin using the GRE.If you are registering as an exhibitor, you will be able to upload titles and catalogs to your exhibitor profile. If you are registering as a visitor you will not be able to upload contents to your visitor listing but will be able to use the new chat and video features, search for exhibitors and send messages to others on the platform.Please note that if you are a BCBF, BLTF/Kids, BBPlus in person fair exhibitor you can register as an Exhibitor at no charge. However if you are not a physical exhibitor of Bologna, you can easily purchase your access to the GRE directly on the platform and join one or more of these virtual market places.
