Founded in 1983, Pehuén is a Chilean publishing house dedicated to creating, rescuing, and disseminating books about indigenous peoples and cultural heritage. It began its children's and youth line under the motto "Reading brings pleasure," a phrase that serves as the foundation for the editing and development of various topics, with a focus on informative books edited from a local and heritage perspective.
