The China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) will participate in the 2026 Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF) in Bologna, Italy, from April 13 to 16.
CCBF will have its own booth in Hall 26, B108, showcasing outstanding works from Chinese children's books, along with specially curated themed exhibitions.
Visitors will also get an exciting preview of CCBF 2026, which is set to take place from November 13 to 15, 2026. A curated selection of 68 Chinese original titles published in 2025, which made their debut at the CCBF 2025, is now presented in Bologna to introduce international professionals to the latest works from China’s children’s publishing scene.
By bringing these titles to the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, CCBF offers global publishers and agents the opportunity to discover new voices, explore rights opportunities, and engage with contemporary Chinese children’s literature.
The exhibition will showcase the finalists from the 2025 Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition. It is located next to the BCBF Illustrators Exhibition, targeting global publishers, illustrators, and art enthusiasts. Additionally, CCBF will also host one illustrator event during BCBF, providing opportunities for in-depth communication and networking among global illustrators and industry professionals.
