How Artificial Intelligence Technology Can Change The Publishing Industry

HALL 29 MALL 1
BBPlus Theatre

In the field of education, edtech companies are competing to launch AI services. But is Artificial Intelligence able to write full-length novels? Not yet. However, AI can reverse this industry with ‘AI drawing platforms’ that change creative original sentences to imaginary paintings automatically. In this way books, turned into images, can become more accessible. This means that any talented storyteller could become a bookmaker and a publisher if they adapt their writing to the needs of these platforms. A new era full of opportunities is coming, let’s wait and see!

How Artificial Intelligence Can Make Publishers More Competitive and Lead to Higher Quality and New Media Productions, and How to Manage Massive Resources and Personalise Readers' Experiences

HALL 29 MALL 1
BBPlus Theatre

How may Artificial Intelligence help us explore narratives from different scenarios and points of view? How can it enhance the experience for readers and offer new creative tools to authors? How could a book be a catalyst of experiences in a storyline continuum and let the reader choose from printed book to digital, VR, AR experience and vice versa back to a reflective traditional reading. Through the BBO platform (by GruppoMeta) you may choose how to read and compose a personal point of view, following different paths and customizations. You may go for a traditional reading or an interactive exploration/immersion  of a plot.

Panel

Adele Magnelli, international project manager, ETT; Sam Habibi Minelli, business manager at GruppoMeta.
