Chinese Excellence in Children’s Illustration 2027 is the fourth edition of a series of exhibitions dedicated to showcasing the best contemporary Chinese illustrators, selected each year by a different jury composed of distinguished Chinese and international experts. The initiative contributes to building an outstanding overview of contemporary Chinese illustration, offering the international community a deeper understanding of China’s rich cultural heritage.
Organized by BolognaFiere/Bologna Children’s Book Fair, China South Publishing & Media Group, and Sìdee Cultural Communication, the initiative is inspired by the established experience of the series “Italian Excellence”, the project that celebrates the best of contemporary Italian illustration, and is driven by the strong relationship of friendship and collaboration that has developed over the years between the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and China. The illustration exhibition Chinese Excellence in Children’s Illustration, organized by BolognaFiere/Bologna Children’s Book Fair, China South Publishing & Media Group, and Sìdee Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., is being held from May 12 to June 10 at A.M.A Factory in Turin, Italy.
