Rights Centre

The Rights Centre is the hub for the trade in copyrights for all literary agents, scouts and publishing professionals. Welcoming 200 professionals from all over the world, it is open to agents of children’s and teen literature as well as those for generalist publishing, in addition to exhibiting publishers at BCBF and BBPlus. 

In 2024, the Centre has undergone a comprehensive redesign to enhance its functionality. New features include partitions between tables to facilitate confidential discussions, shelving to streamline participation, and pre-assigned table numbers. Additionally, the Centre boasts an exclusive bar and restroom facilities for added convenience. 

As well as this business area, the Bologna Book Fair has an events programme of special interest to sector professionals.
