The Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi is awarded to children’s books published in Italy, also in translation, involving in the assignment about two thousand boys and girls from 160 schools in Italy and abroad.

The Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi is promoted by the Fondazione Maria e Goffredo Bellonci and Strega Alberti Benevento, organizers of the Premio Strega, with Centro per il libro e la lettura and BolognaFiere/Bologna Children's Book Fair in collaboration with BPER Banca and La Feltrinelli.

The winning books will be announced in December 2021 and the authors will receive a prize of €3,000, while the debut work winner will receive a prize of €1,000. In case the prize is assigned to a translated book, an equal recognition - offered by BolognaFiere - will be awarded to the translator.
