The 2025 winner

The winner of the Indie Italian Book Jacket Award 2025 is Laura Usai, with the book “Una sete insaziabile di inchiostro” (An Insatiable Thirst for Ink).

A lifelong book enthusiast, Laura Usai has been reading and writing extensively since a young age. “Una sete insaziabile di inchiostro” (An Insatiable Thirst for Ink), published in 2023, is her first book for young readers, and follows the fantasy novel “Il segreto della curatrice” (The Curator’s Secret) and “Maite” (Maite). She has also published “La donna senza nome” (The Woman Without a Name) and “L'altra metà del male” (The Other Half of Evil). “La Volpe di Londra” (The Fox of London) will be released soon.
