Visitors Area

Reduced tickets for illustrators and translators

• 1-day reduced ticket: € 25.00
• 2-day reduced ticket: € 50.00
• 4-day reduced pass: € 64.00

Note: reduced tickets can be purchased using a personal code, which can be used only once. Illustrators and translators who have recently taken part in the dedicated exhibitions and competitions of the Bologna Children's Book Fair will find the code in the Visitors Area. All other illustrators and translators may request it by filling in the form available in the Visitors Area.

Already have your personal discount code?

  1. Log in to the Visitor Area.
  2. Go to the “Online Tickets and Code Validation” section and check whether your personal discount code is available in your dashboard.
  3. To purchase your ticket, follow: Ticket Online and Code Validation > Online Ticket with Discount Code “Illustrators/Translators”.
  4. Enter the purchase flow and insert your personal discount code before completing payment.

Haven’t received your discount code?

  1. Log in to the Visitor Area.
  2. Register or sign in, if you already have an account.
  3. Click on “Online Tickets and Code Validation” and then on “Request the Illustrators/Translators Discount Code”.
  4. Fill out and submit the request form by 11:59 pm (CEST) on 5 April 2026.
  5. The BCBF team will review your profile: if your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your personal discount code to be entered during the purchase process.
  6. Your discount code will remain visible at all times in your personal area.
  7. To purchase your ticket, log in to the Visitor Area and follow: Ticket Online and Code Validation > Online Ticket with Discount Code “Illustrators/Translators”, then enter your discount code before completing payment.

Complimentary tickets

Illustrators shortlisted and selected as winners for the Illustrators Exhibition 2026 are entitled to a complimentary entrance ticket. They will find the redemption code in the Visitors Area starting from February 2026, following the announcement of shortlisted artists and winners.
