2021 Winner

Alice Galletti

We are glad to announce the winner of the third edition of the Carla Poesio award for the best Italian dissertation on children's literature.

Among the 21 theses received from universities across Italy, the jury identified three finalists:

  • Giulia Caroletti, Le metamorfosi di Pinocchio nella drammaturgia del teatro a scuola, Università La Sapienza, Roma;
  • Alice Galletti, Tracce di materia e luce nella letteratura per l’infanzia: la preziosità dell’oro tra il qui e l’altrove , Università di Bologna;
  • Beatrice Fumagalli Lector in fabula. La cooperazione interpretativa nella scuola delle competenze, Università Milano Bicocca.

The winner is Alice Galletti with Tracce di materia e luce nella letteratura per l’infanzia: la preziosità dell’oro tra il qui e l’altrove (Università di Bologna). 

Alice’s thesis was published by ETS publishing house in 2022, with the support of BolognaFiere.

Alice Galletti

Alice Galletti is a primary school teacher and illustrator based in Bologna.
She graduated in Primary Education Sciences at the University of Bologna and completed a postgraduate course on "Reading and literature for children and adolescents" at the University of Padua.
Together with other fellow teachers, she founded the association "Cunegunde", a teacher training project on children's literature at school.
