Mohammad Yousuf AlShaibani

Mohammad AlShaibani was born in Dubai and is an Emirati comic book artist and Art Production Unit Head of Sandstorm, a comic book studio in Abu Dhabi. He received his Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from the American University of Sharjah and his Master of Fine Arts in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Mohammad resides in Dubai where his drawing time is divided between finishing pages, publishing indie comics, and chasing his nieces for his materials.

Fornaroli

Enrico Fornaroli

Enrico Fornaroli is a Full Professor of Pedagogy and Art Education and teaches ‘History of Comics’ at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, of which he was Director from 2014 to 2020. He has been involved in mass media and children’s literature. Responsible for numerous series dedicated to comics, he was editor of Panini Publishing, for which he has edited several collections of books. He is the author of essays and catalogs relating to comics, communication and cultural studies. Since 2006 he is the curator for the Natalino Sapegno Foundation of the Mafrica Day ‘for popular literature’. He is a member of the “Technical Table on Italian Comics” established in 2020 by the Ministry of Culture.

Sildre

Joonas Sildre

Joonas Sildre (1980) graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in graphic design and works as a freelance artist. Sildre has illustrated close to 30 children’s books and has worked as an editorial illustrator. Sildre teaches comic drawing and illustration in workshops and art schools, has compiled anthologies, and organized Estonian comics exhibitions. In 2013, he became a co-founder of the Estonian Comics Society. He is the co-author with his wife of children's comics, co-author of a book about the Ukraine war, and the author of two graphic biographies of Estonian artists. The graphic novel about Arvo Pärt has been translated into several languages and has received multiple nominations and awards. Graphic novels: 2018 Between Two Sounds.
