BolognaRagazzi CrossMedia Awards

The evolving international scenario for content has profoundly transformed the relationship between publishing, TV and cinema, gaming and digital media. Today stories that first appear in books can expand through numerous different forms. In some cases, they can be conceived from the outset as transmedia narrative universes. Other projects experiment with new forms of reading in digital environments.

In order to reflect these changes, the BolognaRagazzi CrossMedia Awards, which hold their seventh edition in 2027, will be organized into three categories, each dedicated to a different way of developing contemporary storytelling. The International Jury will assign an award to each of the following categories:

• Book-to-Media, for books that give life to new narrative developments through cinema, television, animation, video games, apps, audio and other media.
• Transmedia Evolution, for Intellectual Property that is conceived from the outset as a narrative ecosystem in which every medium contributes to amplifying the story with original and complementary content.
• Digital Reading Experiences, for platforms, applications and digital products that propose innovative and effective reading experiences on the screen.

The Jury will also assign Special Mentions to projects that stand out for their quality, innovation or particular creative value.

The BolognaRagazzi CrossMedia Awards are origanised in collaboration with the association Mamamò.
