Braw CrossMedia 2021 Regulations

ART. 1 – PURPOSE OF THE AWARD

The BolognaRagazzi CrossMedia Award shall be conferred within the framework of Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2021. At a time when many publishers are seeking to develop and extend their properties, Bologna Children’s Book Fair has decided to reformulate the BolognaRagazzi Digital Award, broadening its reach and strengthening the link with the world of books by creating an Award for the best publishing projects that have extended their narrative universe across different media or that are a narrative extension of a project originated in other media.

Participation in the Award is free and open to all publishers registered at Bologna Children’s Book Fair in the period 2019-2021.

The International Jury for the BolognaRagazzi CrossMedia Award shall seek to award books derived from multimedia projects and narratives originally produced by the world of traditional publishing that have successfully been migrated, included or expanded across other platforms such as television, cinema, videogames, mobile devices, or smart speakers.

An International Jury shall award a Grand Prize to one of the candidates and, if it sees fit, Special Mentions.
