BCBF at MIBF 2020

Bologna Children’s Book Fair continued its international activities, partnering Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) for the second year in the organization of the international professional program of the 33^rd MIBF (from 2 to 6 September 2020).

The international program entitled “The visual world of children's books” was organized by Bologna Children’s Book Fair together with the Russian State Children's Library of Moscow and the General Directorate of International Book Exhibitions and Fairs. The program included:

• International conferences: the main illustration competitions; comics, manga and the graphic novel; the centenary of Gianni Rodari; non-fiction for children
• the exhibition in Moscow: “Drawn Stories from Around the World”, with 200 comics and graphic novels.
• the much-awaited Illustrators Survival Corner, a 3-day marathon curated by Mimaster Illustrazione (Milan), crammed with professional events for illustrators.
