The National Book Council of Malaysia (MBKM), under the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE), leads national efforts to democratize access to books and develop the Malaysian book industry. MBKM coordinates government, publishers, writers, and readers to strengthen the reading ecosystem and advance Malaysia’s literary presence globally, with a vision to position Malaysia as a regional and international publishing hub.
