PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

Edicions Paper d’Estrassa is an independent Catalan publisher founded to foster local culture and historical memory. Our catalogue ranges from fiction rooted in legends that explore and interpret the territory to non-fiction addressing contemporary social issues such as feminism and mental health, always through a clear educational lens. Visual storytelling matters in everything we publish. We work closely with illustration and editorial design so that each book reads clearly and feels cohesive. In our children’s collections, typography and layout are designed for reading accessibility, an approach appreciated by education professionals. We also develop replicable editorial models: book formats and mediation approaches that emerge from a specific place yet can be adapted and transferred to other territorial contexts.
