CAKE is a publishing brand that carries forward HYBE EDU’s IP publishing and Korean-learning initiatives—originally created to connect global fans more deeply with K-pop artists and their content. Following its acquisition and integration into NAVER CAKE in June 2022, CAKE combined proven language-learning expertise with top-tier artist IP to pioneer a new category: learning Korean and exploring Korean culture through the artists fans love. CAKE has signed with Hachette Book Group’s Running Press for major BTS titles including BTS LYRICS INSIDE, BTS RECIPE BOOK, and BTS QUIZ BOOK. As global attention intensifies around BTS concerts, CAKE’s publishing program continues to gain momentum worldwide. Positioned at the premium end of K-pop IP publishing, CAKE focuses on editorial craftsmanship, design excellence, and highly collectible formats—creating books that feel as curated and enduring as the artists and fandoms they celebrate.
