Born in Toulouse in 1977, author Sophie Nauleau graduated and received her doctorate in French Literature from the École du Louvre. After producing documentaries and broadcasts for France Culture, she became Artistic Director of Printemps des Poètes. She has curated numerous poetry anthologies and prefaced the works of Paul Valet and Alicia Gallienne. Her publications include La Main d’oublies (Galilée), La Vie cavalière (Gallimard), and for Actes Sud: La Voie de l’Écuyer, La Poésie à l’épreuve de soi (The Way of the Squire), J’attends un poulain (I expect a Foal), Espère en ton courage (Hope in Your Courage) and Ce qu’il faut de désir (What It Takes to Desire).
