International Kids Licensing Days

4th EDITION

From 8 to 10 April, International Kids Licensing Days returns for the fourth consecutive year, offering a programme of conferences on the latest trends in children’s content, from licensing to publishing, audiovisual and gaming, showcasing new approaches and trends to appeal to of an increasingly fragmented and evolving audience.

A series of in-depth, themed discussions will be held over the three-day conference. Day one, 8 April, is dedicated to manga and gaming trends. Day two focuses on new developments in licensing and previews. Day three, 10 April, is dedicated to dialogue and synergy between audiovisual and publishing, offering in-depth analyses, success stories and market trends.

Over forty key international players will present their points of view, market analyses, success stories and insights into the latest trends, providing the best possible tools to face the challenges of today.

Following launch of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair’s new TV/Film Rights Centre, day three of International Kids Licensing Days is dedicated to the always-lively, wide-ranging dialogue between publishing and the audiovisual world. The session will be packed with market analysis, insights into artistic links between audiovisual production, authors and illustrators, as well as success stories and tutorials on how to pitch book-based IP in order to turn it into the next successful TV or film production.
