The Illustrators Wall is among the best-loved places at Bologna Children’s Book Fair. One of the first things you come across on entering the trade show, this impromptu array of posters, drawings, photographs, pictures, and contact details welcomes visitors each year.

For the first time SELF-PUBLISHING: HOW TO SUCCEED IN ITALY AND ABROAD will dedicate a whole day to self-publishing works for children and YA in international markets.
Starting from a market analysis, we will talk about strategies to define target and image, thanks to the use of AI and the most innovative tools at the service of the author, and the new printing solutions for the children & YA indie authors.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

The second day of SELF-PUBLISHING: HOW TO SUCCEED IN ITALY AND ABROAD will focus on self-publishing in Italy to help understand the fundamental elements to embark on the path of self-publishing: from the book marketing, rights, distribution and the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

This half-day training event will ensure that you understand the cornerstone of copyright, and the essential steps of rights selling, whether you are starting off, or considering a career in rights; are in your first year or two and wish to consolidate the basics; you work in contracts or related areas, or you are a self-published children’s author.

It will consider thoroughly those all-important essentials: copyright, rights, contracts, and how to start selling - all with a sharp focus on children’s IP.
