PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

Bohem Press was founded in the early 1970s in Zurich. We publish literary and artistically designed children’s books by international authors and artists. Our program includes new titles, but also redesigned and reprinted classics from the very beginnings of Bohem Press. Amongst these classics are titles by Józef Wilkon, Max Bolliger, and Štepán Zavrel in order to keep up the tradition and art of the founders. Bohem Press has been shortlisted for and received numerous awards for its picture books, including the International Creative Media Award, Best German Book Design (Schönste Deutsche Bücher), the German Children’s Literature Award (Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis) and the German-French Youth Literature Award (Deutsch-Französischer Jugendliteraturpreis).
