PUBLISHING ACTIVITY
The Hellenic Ministry of Culture has put in place policies, whose aim is to foster and encourage authors' creativity, while supporting the growth of the book publishing industry. GreekLit is a programme providing grants for translation, designed to fund the translation of Greek books of all genres into foreign languages. It’s run by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, as part of its initiatives to disseminate Greek books, literature, language and ideas, internationally, in order to support and promote Greek authors, as well as to encourage and reward foreign publishers, who provide them with the opportunity to gain an international audience.
