PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

The Association for Children's Literature (AKJ) is an umbrella organization founded in 1955 and currently has 53 organizational members and 250 individual members. The AKJ is responsible for awarding the German Children's Literature Award (Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis), which is a state-sponsored prize for works of fiction an non-fiction. The Shortlist of the 2022 award is exhibited in Bologna.
