BRAW - All the 2026 Winners

4,120 candidate titles from 73 countries and regions around the world: these are the 2026 figures for the BolognaRagazzi Awards, setting a new record with +6.8% more titles and +13% more publishers submitted compared to the previous record set in the 2025 edition.

Divided into five permanent categories — Fiction, Non-Fiction, Opera Prima (for debut authors and illustrators), Comics, and Toddler — the BRAW also include the special New Horizons Award, which international juries may assign to a particularly innovative work. Each year, an additional special category is introduced: for the 2026 edition, the focus is on Fairy Tales and Fables, a choice driven by the desire to highlight and explore a publishing trend that, while never having left the global publishing scene, is now experiencing renewed momentum.
