Pino Boero is Professor of Children’s Literature at the University of Genova. He has focused his research mainly on the development of Italian literature between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and on Italian literature for children. He is the author and curator of books and essays; among the most significant titles: La letteratura per l’infanzia (in collaboration with Carmine De Luca, Laterza 1995 and 2009); Il cavallo a dondolo e l’infinito. Temi e autori di letteratura per l’infanzia (Interlinea, 2014). He collaborates with the journals "Andersen" and "LiBeR".
