Agata Loth-Ignaciuk was born in 1973 in Warsaw, Poland. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of Druganoga Publishing House.

In 1996, she was awarded a Master of Business Administration from the University of Warsaw and in 1998, received an Associate of Applied Sciencedegree in Graphic Design from the Parsons School of Design in New York. During this time, her interest in writing and illustrating books for children continued to evolve.

In 2016, she launched her own publishing house for children - Druganoga. Her diverse education and experience allowed her to understand both the creative and business side of publishing. Although relatively new to the publishing market, Druganoga authors and illustrators have received several prizes, including the Bologna Ragazzi Award Special Mention for Non-fiction, the Green Island Award at Nami Concours, the Ibby Poland Distinction for Graphic Design, and the Gourmand Award for the 3 Best in the World Children’s Cookbooks . Books published by Druganoga have been published in several countries.
