Building on the strong foundation of BCBF’s own translation programme for the world of children’s publishing, BolognaBookPlus was proud to present its inaugural half-day Annual Literary Translation Forum for a wider general audience. Designed to create a lasting community of professional translators and those considering a career in this area, the Forum considered the current themes in literary translation, whilst providing practical advice.
Our partners at Words without Borders helped shape this important and compelling event taking place online on 16 June.
The event was organised in the framework of Aldus Up.
The Forum programme will include:
- One hour panel discussion: Who Gets to Translate? Diversity & Inclusion in Literary Translation
- Translation Slam Italian/English with two eminent translators moderated by our partner organisation.
