PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

Over more than forty years of activities, Mazza Edições reaffirms its commitment to bring its readers, inside and outside the country, works that critically address some of the most relevant themes of Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian cultures. Maria Mazarello Rodrigues, founder of Mazza Edições, has her intellectual and human journey marked by attention to political and cultural issues that give dynamism to Brazilian society. His editorial experience comes, among other facts, from his presence at the head of Editora do Professor and Vega, in the 60's and 70's, as well as from the Master's in Publishing that he took at the Paris Nord University - Paris XIII, in France. Faced with the challenges generated by the new social order in Brazil and in the world, with emphasis on the acceleration of the flow of information, Mazza Edições proposes to act with a critical sense to offer its readers works that contribute to a better understanding of the past, of the present and the future to be built.
