PUBLISHING ACTIVITY

Editorial Cayuco is an independent Mexican children’s publishing house founded by Andrea Garza Ponce de León and launched in 2019. Its catalogue focuses on inclusive, accessible, and aesthetically rich books that support language development and reading. With around 20 titles, Cayuco combines Mexican works with international collaborations, particularly through partnerships with publishers and book institutions in Europe. The press also promotes reading mediation, teacher training, and shared reading practices for families and communities, while developing books designed to strengthen vocabulary, comprehension, empathy, identity, and diversity.
