KURUMUNY, which in Grico, the ancient language still spoken in an area of Salento called Grecìa Salentina, means “olive shooting,” is a homage to the tree symbolizing Apulia and a metaphor of the publisher’s mission. Since 2004, Kurumuny published stories of the Salentine territory through the collection of oral traditions, anthropology, ethno-musicology, documentary materials and social sciences. In time, we also got interested in fiction, poetry and world music.
