A new stop on the international tour of the Bologna Illustrator exhibition 2015 giving all the selected artists access to a truly global audience for their winning work. The second leg of Chinese tour begins in Shanghai and stays until October 7th.
Among those in the show is the Italian illustrator Mariachiara Di Giorgio, who held workshops for children and adults. The meeting of Di Giorgio with the illustrator and university professor Feng Yu was also a great success: the meeting dedicated to illustrators, was also accessible online with more 2,600 people watching it.
Shanghai is the second leg of a tour - organized by BolognaFiere-Bologna Children's Book Fair, Niu Niu Cultures Limited and Beijing Dandelion Children's Book House Limited – and this has seen the Illustrators Exhibition visit all the major cities of China. After Beijing and Shanghai, the collective will go to Shenzhen, Chengdu, Jinan and Xi'an, the exhibition also includes the Illustrators annual which is published in China for the first time.
