The BCBF/BBPlus Invitation Programme – created with the collaboration and support of ITA and MAECI – enables a number of international publishers carefully selected for their publishing output to participate in the fair as guests in the yearly Invitation Programme.
The aim of the Programme is to enrich the fair's offer with quality publishers from all over the world and involve them in an agenda of B2B appointments with Italian publishers to foster the international exchange of rights. This matchmaking programme is designed in cooperation with the Italian Publishers Association-AIE.
The World Lounge at BCBF 2024 welcomes 40 publishers from 19 countries who are also involved in the fair's programme of talks and seminars to offer a valuable contribution to the international debate on children's books from multiple perspectives.
