Gusti

Gusti (Gustavo Rosemfett) has published more than one hundred and fifty books and won major prizes including the Golden Apple in Bratislava, the Appeles -Mestres prize, BolognaRagazzi Award in the disability category for the book 'Mallko y papá', the Serra Dór Award and the Junceda Award. In 2022, he was nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
Gusti was artistic director of the design studio Casa de Carlota. He is founder and president of the association 'Windown', which focuses on art as a tool for inclusion.

He teaches drawing and picture books at the Eina school of design, as well as holding art workshops and lectures on image and disability. In particular, he holds several inclusive workshops in Spain, Colombia, Nicaragua, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Germany and Italy. Finally, he collaborates with Andean Condor and Harpy Eagle conservation projects. Gusti lives and works in Barcelona.

Morault

Christine Morault

Christine Morault studied art and lived in the United States & Brazil before she created MeMo in 1993 with Yves Mestrallet. Me stands for Mestrallet and Mo for Morault. Both book and art lovers, they started by publishing one book per year. Today they publish more than 20 books per year, including artist's books. They want to give children innovative books as well as high quality reprints of outstanding 20th century children's picture books. For 30 years, MeMo has been creating picture books with the utmost care, scrupulously reproducing the pictures from first edition books from first edition books as well as works by young and creative contemporary artists. Because in MeMo's world, children (and grown-ups) are never too young to have a great book in hand.

Smith

Sydney Smith

Sydney Smith is the award-winning author and illustrator of Small in the City as well as the illustrator of I Talk Like a River by Jordan Scott, Town Is by the Sea by Joanne Schwartz, Sidewalk Flowers by JonArno Lawson, The White Cat and the Monk by Jo Ellen Bogart, among others. Sydney has received multiple awards including four consecutive New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Books Awards, two Kate Greenaway Awards and has been nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award twice. Sydney currently lives by the sea in Nova Scotia, Canada with his wife and children.

Telfort

Eric Telfort

Eric Telfort is an illustrator, and fine artist who earned his BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. He worked as a production artist in the video game industry before earning a MFA from the New York Academy of Art. Eric has lectured throughout the United States and internationally in Zimbabwe, where he was a Visual Arts Initiative Artist in Residence. Telfort was a recipient of the 2019 Robert and Margaret MacColl Johnson  fellowship to explore the concept of creativity in poverty, and a personal independent graphic novel. He currently teaches Character Design, Digital Illustration, and Portfolio classes for students seeking to engage with the entertainment and visual narrative industries

Titusson

Erik Titusson

Erik Titusson has been working with children’s literature for many years, in different capacities—in publishing but also as Director of the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA), the world’s largest award for children’s literature. In 2011 he founded Lilla Piratförlaget, an independent publisher of high-quality literature for children and young adults. Erik has also served on the board of Swedish IBBY, as jury for the HC Andersen and as the board of Swedish Best Book Design. Currently, he is a member of the board of the Astrid Lindgren Society.
