More than 10,556 people (up 34% on 2017) visited the 2019 BCBF Illustrators Exhibition in Tokyo, from 29 June to 12 August.
The show was an great success, held in the modern-renewed Itabashi Art Museum, alongside two other showcases. One dedicated to the 2019 BCBF visual identity art of the Russian illustrator – Masha Titova – working alongside Chialab Studio. The second exhibition featured the work the 2018 winner of the International Award for Illustration Bologna Children’s Book Fair - Fundación SM, the Croatian Vendi Vernić.
The 2019 Illustrators Exhibition – together with the BCBF visual identity exhibition - will continue travelling through Japan: from 17 August until 23 September at the Otani Memorial Art Museum in Nishinomiya.
The exhibition travel to South Korea and China later in the year.
