1,523 exhibitors from 100 countries and regions of the world attended the 61th Bologna Children’s Book Fair, together with BolognaBookPlus (BBPlus) and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids (BLTF/K). 31,735 trade visitors (up 10% on 2023 figures) took part over the four days of the event in both 385 BCBF events. This edition once again confirmed Bologna’s position as the world capital of the trade in copyrights and publishing rights, while registering an increase in participation.

 

The 62nd edition of Bologna Children’s Book Fair is scheduled to take place from 31 March to 3 April 2025. Estonia will be the Guest of Honour Country.

The BCBF Event Network

The 2024 edition of China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) will take place on 15-17 November. CCBF is the only book fair in Asia Pacific fully dedicated to books and other contents for children co-organised by BolognaFiere/Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

HOW TO EXHIBIT 

This exciting initiative was launched in 2021 to run in parallel to the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, reaching a wider professional general trade audience across the global publishing industry.
In 2024, +50 international exhibitors took part, together with new contents and initiatives: India in the Limelight, the new Audio Forum, the Self-Publishing and the role of AI
The fifth edition will be co-located with Bologna Children’s Book Fair, 31 March to 3 April 2025.

BLTF/Kids is now an integral part of BCBF. Bringing together key players in the entertainment and international licensing world, BLTF host +1000 brands and properties, a Licensing Business Lounge, the Bologna Licensing Awards, the new TV/Film Rights Centre and an area dedicated to licensees in search of new business.
The next edition of BLTF/Kids will be held 31 March - 3 April 2025.
