ATTIVITÀ EDITORIALE

Giunti Editore Established in 1841 with the founding of Libreria Paggi, the publisher of Pinocchio, Giunti Editore is one of Italy’s leading publishing groups and among the oldest still active today. It brings together imprints such as Bompiani, Demetra, De Vecchi, Dami Editore, Fatatrac, Edizioni del Borgo, Editoriale Scienza, Giorgio Nada Editore, Giunti, Musye, Giunti Scuola, Storm, and Pon Pon Edizioni, as well as licensed imprints including Disney, Lucas, and Marvel. Its publishing activity spans adult and children’s fiction, non-fiction, and educational books. Giunti also operates Italy’s largest bookstore chain, with 275 owned retail stores across the country. Giunti Editore has participated in the Bologna Children’s Book Fair since its inception in 1964, and in fact, Renato Giunti was one of the founding publishers of the fair. He was fully aware of the importance of children’s books and took great pride in the abundant catalogue of children’s titles published by his company.
