‘The Extraordinary Library’ arrives in Rimini

‘The Extraordinary Library’, the one hundred illustrated books’ exhibition dedicated to the history of fashion, costume and design, created by the cooperation between the Bologna Children's Book Fair and Pitti Immagine Bimbo, approaches Rimini.

From October 18, at the Galleria Dell'Immagine - Biblioteca Gambalunga, it’s possible to admire these little masterpieces coming from every angle of the world, which will be open public until November 7.

After Florence, the city of Rimini becomes the first official stop of the journey of this beautiful selection by Silvana Sola and Marcella Terrusi: a trip made possible thanks to the convention between the Library of the University Campus and the Biblioteca Gambalung, the Municipality of Rimini with Roberto Farné for the Dipartimento di Scienze per la Qualità della Vita and the involvement of the students of the Degree Course in Culture and Techniques of Fashion. An amazing location made even more unique by Susan Mohamed who made the set-ups, which allow you a deep-dive into the patterns of fashion and design from the unusual but closely related perspective of the illustration for children and kids.

During the exhibition, there will be some labs and workshops for children by the Cooperativa Millepiedi.
