The Bologna Children's Book Fair is the world's leading children's publishing and multimedia products event. 2010 will be its 47th edition.
Every year in the spring, publishers, authors, illustrators, literary agents, TV and film producers, licensors and licensees, packagers, distributors, printers, booksellers and librarians meet in Bologna to:

How the Fair is promoted
The Bologna Children's Book Fair plays host to selected journalists from the world's leading print media.
Information on the Book Fair are mailed to a carefully selected and up-to-the-minute target of professionals around the world.
To expand business opportunities for exhibitors, every year the Fair hosts groups of professionals from countries recommended by the publishers themselves as offering exciting new market potential.

- the BolognaRagazzi Award, a prize recognizing outstanding graphic and editorial design
