Finding the reader in a cross-media world

In collaboration with  AIE

Tuesday March 31st, 2015 – 2-4 pm
Sala Suite – Services Centre, 1st floor, block D

Debating about kids media consumption is extremely trendy nowadays and, at the same time, difficult to evaluate. Traditional media have to compete and coexist with mobile devices, games and videos, hybrid forms of stories and contents integrated across multiple platforms as kids are used to cross-channel consumptions and simultaneous media usage.

How do these trends affect communication and marketing strategies? How to promote contents through different media and devices in a context where children skip from tablets to books to TV? How to enhance digital and physical discoverability?

The Masterclass, organized jointly by TISP – Technology Innovation for Smart Publishing -, Bologna Childrens’ Book Fair and Associazione Italiana Editori, will provide a thorough review of these trends as well as a debate between all the players involved in the promotion and set-up of marketing strategies. A coffee break will follow.
